Phantoms: The Kitchen Is Closed

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

There will be no more “cooking” from the fraudulent Penguins affiliate from Wilkes-Barre.

Every prediction I read.  Every Wilkes-Barre fan, every media personality covering the fake Penguins, every AHL media person, Everybody:  All predicted a Wilkes-Barre series victory as well as a Wilkes-Barre sweep.

“…And we shut them down because we can!”

They didn’t count on this team having pretty good chemistry in their room.  They didn’t count on the four players returning from the Flyers–two on offense and two on defense–moving the needle like they did.  And they didn’t count on us getting some good goaltending.

I smell chocolate…

So we get Hershey.  The record-setting Bears are rested and ready–many of them with Calder Cup experience.  They are poised to go deep, deep into this Calder Cup tournament.  We are set with a five game schedule, 2-2-1 as predicted and as follows:

Wednesday, May 1, 7PM, AT hershey, “Cowbell Night”

Saturday, May 4, 7PM, AT hershey

Wednesday, May 8, 7:05PM HOME vs Hershey

Saturday, May 11, if needed, 7:05PM HOME vs Hershey

Sunday, May 12, if needed, 7PM (!) AT hershey

I don’t think any team played Hershey as tough as the Phantoms did this season.  We’ve had a knack for getting to their goalies.

Nobody believes in us.

See you at the arena,

@Kram207
