The 2025 IronPigs won again last night making it six games in a row as we move through our second full series of the season. The other team has minor league players too, you know.
While some teams were postponing games (Buffalo, Worcester, and there was rain in Scranton) the IronPigs forged ahead. A little cold might keep people away but that’s still easier to deal with than re-scheduling groups. Plus it was the annual “make Kram sit in the picnic patio to get free food” coldest day of the season. One of the groups was a bunch of Phantoms players in the suite level. They’re gonna be busy with playoffs so you can’t just ask them to pick another night for their baseball outing.
The IronPigs were clinging to a 3-2 lead headed to the bottom of the 8th inning, when this happened (edited for brevity and clarity):

Notes: 1B Carson Taylor remains on the Injured List with a shoulder impingement. INF Christian Arroyo came up lame running the bases Sunday but has not been added to the injured list yet, day to day.
