Reinforcements
With the Gahagen injury from Sunday, G Keith Petruzzelli has been recalled from the Reading Roster (Reading is done for the season).
On the Hershey side, they got G Clay Stevenson back from Washington on May 1, but played G Hunter Shepherd on Sunday. They also got a couple wingers from South Carolina this week, Hofer and Suzdalev.

What To Watch
- Watch for your puck-tamer. It should be Peterson, based on the roster move. Who will back up? Makiniemi has been practicing and is cleared to play. Gahagen’s knee feels good enough? Petruzzelli, that’s why he’s here? Awful big spot for the kid Bjarnason.
- Watch for which team looks fastest and loosest to start the game. And, who looks tight and slow?
- Watch for the Phantoms to try to stay out of the PK. We can’t always count on shorties, right? Right?
- Watch for the same lineup from Sunday, save goalie.
- The Bears will bring everything, believe it. But if the Phantoms can get a lead, with this crowd tonight, it might be tough for any team to overcome.
- Watch for fewer Bears fans this time. Do they really want to see their team get eliminated? No, they’ll stay home and hope to see them on Sunday.
- Watch to see which team is feeling the pressure–the pressure to close it out or the pressure to survive to play another day.
- Watch to see which team gets punched in the face first, and how they respond.

Win, and wait to see if it’s Providence or Charlotte. Charlotte is up 2-1. It will likely be a 2-3 format with the first two games in Allentown. I’m hearing Thursday and Sunday, but (1) that’s not official and (2) in no way am I looking ahead–I have baseball tickets those days anyway.
