Rafael Lantigua is #0 in your program but #∞ in our hearts.
About Last Night
Somehow it was an April game in the middle of August. Did we learn from Tuesday night? Sure did. Were we prepared for that slop last night? Still nope.
So we didn’t get to see the walk-off, because cold and tired. But the bull-pen game held on and kept the game within reach. With two on and two out in the ninth, Lantigua came through–kinda like he always does. Not a big guy, no flashy numbers, but if there’s a rally, he’s probably involved in some way.
Two nice wins in a row to open the Durham series. Lantigua with a 5-Walk game to open, and a 3-Run Walk-Off to win the second.
