Looking Back

Two weekends ago, the Phantoms won two road games against tough opponents before coming home for a Sunday afternoon rematch, where Wilkes-Barre out-played them for most of the afternoon.

Then on Wednesday of that week, visiting Providence, the number one team in the entire league with the top goalie in the league, came to town to get trounced by the Hamilton Street Heroes, 6-3.

Last weekend, the Phantoms made the trek to North Carolina to take on the Checkers in back-to-back games.  It didn’t go well.  They jumped out to big deficits in both games, and couldn’t recover.

After the week off to re-group, these new-look Phantoms who are clinging to a playoff position, but would like to get out of 6th place to avoid a first-round back in Charlotte.  And, they are faced with another 3/3 weekend.  We start right here with Springfield tonight and Hershey tomorrow before heading up the Wilkes for a Sunday matinee at their place this time.
